Deleting Your Account in MyWork

At MyWork, we value your data privacy and provide you the flexibility to recover your account if you decide to return. This page contains detailed information about the account deletion process, data retention, and recovery conditions.

How to Request Account Deletion?

1. Open the MyWork application.
2. Go to "Settings" → "Account Settiing."
3. Select the "Delete Account" option.
4. Confirm your request by following the on-screen instructions.
5. Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion.

Account Recovery

- Your account will be permanently deleted 6 months after you confirm the deletion request.
- If you decide to return within this time, simply sign in to the app using your credentials. This will automatically cancel the deletion process.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

After the 6-month period, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal information: name, email, phone number.
- Interaction history: chats, activities in the app.
- Linked data: subscription and payment details (if applicable).

What Data Will Be Retained?

During the 6-month period, your data will be securely stored in an encrypted format for recovery purposes. After permanent deletion, no information will be retained, except for:
- Transaction data (e.g., for refunds or reporting) – retained for up to [retention period, e.g., 90 days].
- Technical logs for security purposes – retained for up to [retention period].

How Long Does It Take to Process a Request?

Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately after your request, but the actual deletion will be finalized after 6 months. This grace period allows you to recover your account if you change your mind.
